Hi,
I found an old thread on viewpoints, but can't find in Archi4 the viewpoint.xml that was mentioned there.

What's the way now to define custopm viewpoints?

Cheers,
Frédéric

Hi,

you can edit the viewpoints.xml file in the plugins/com.archimatetool.model_X.X.X_Xxxxxxxx/model folder.

Thank you Phil,

Are there guidelines to what is possible to define in vioewpoints, in addition to just the concepts?
Can we for instance define the relations restrictied to one viewpoint?

Cheers,
Frédéric

It's really an internal thing to list the ArchiMate elements for Viewpoints suggested in the ArchiMate spec, so not really supported. Limiting relations is not currently implemented.

Declaring relations in the "viewpoints.xml" file will be a thing. See https://github.com/archimatetool/archi/issues/941
