Title: How to Create Custom Icons with Transparent Background for Archi Elements
Post by: Gemini on March 24, 2024, 22:26:01 PM
Hello,

I have tried to change the element icons by using Image->Custom property.

However, they are displayed with their original size and background and they don't fit into the element original size on the screen.

Is there any method and tool to implement such an icon for each Archimate element?

Thanks

Yes, that's on purpose: you have to resize them before. Usually 20px is a good start for a top right icon.

Only exception: if you set image position to "Fill", then the image will be scaled (up or down) to cover the whole figure.

If you don't want any background, use an image format which supports transparency (such as PNG) et set background to transparent.
