Title: Jasper Report
Post by: daniel.lorenc on October 24, 2016, 22:58:55 PM
Jasper does a good job laying down the elements into a document (I use .pdf and word formats).. however, to turn it into an enterprise architecture document, I would love to add some introduction 'motherhood' .. purpose of the document.. how to use..

is there a way to append this kind of information in the modeler, so that it is generated in jasper without have a second editing step to make the jasper report into an architecture document?

Hi,

While that's not perfect, you can create views for that purpose and assign them the property "Report:View:Hide" with value "true". In such case I'd suggest to use Canvas instead of ArchiMate views to better distinguish them from your "real" architectural content. BTW, Canvas allows you to insert pictures (I used to use this to present a summary of ArchiMate notation).
