Title: Edit JasperReport
Post by: Gonçalo Cordeiro on February 05, 2019, 11:02:59 AM
Hi,

I'm new to using ArchiMate and would like to clarify a question.

Is it possible to edit JasperReport, for example, to get the number of elements present in the diagram? Or the number of different artifacts associated with a data object?

best regards,

I await an answer

Goncalo

Hi,

Yes, you can customize or create your own report. You can find some basic information here: https://github.com/archimatetool/archi/wiki/How-to-create-your-own-report-for-Archi

But if you just want to query your model, you can use the DB engine included into the HTML report, or even jArchi (https://www.archimatetool.com/plugins/), the scipting plugin based on Javascript.

JB

Hi,

Can someone tell me how to query the diagram to get the number of components?

I've been trying and I could not :(

Can you be more precise: which solution do you use? jasperreport/SQL/Scripting ?
