Title: Changing Referenced View
Post by: DaveVint on September 08, 2021, 09:54:19 AM
Hi,

The 'getRefView' capability was added recently, so that we can now query the target view of a diagram-reference-model object. Is there any way to set it, or do I need to create a new view reference object and delete the old one?

Context in case it helps: I've set up a 'Table of Contents' canvas which has a view reference to it on every diagram. I forgot that doesn't get exported to the open exchange format, so have created a new exportable ToC in an ArchiMate diagram. I want to change all of the existing references to the canvas view to point to the new view instead.

Cheers,

Dave

Hi Dave,

it's not possible to set it. This would have to be done in the core Archi code, and I'm not sure what the ramifications of that are. I'll investigate.

Regards,

Phil
