Title: change type
Post by: wkossen on August 16, 2022, 13:25:45 PM
Is there a way in Archi to change an object to a different type? I find myself deleting and recreating objects quite regularly, a change type option might be faster or more convenient. (or i need to learn to be less sloppy...)

Hi,

This is through a jArchi script. See https://github.com/archimatetool/archi-scripting-plugin/wiki/jArchi-Object#type for more information of the API.

I shared a set of script for that purpose some time ago: https://gist.github.com/jbsarrodie/45a312cff559d23cf55ed102422e8af7

Regards,

JB

In fact, the change type scripts are included with jArchi:
