Title: Wy not use Open Group Archimate Exchange format as Archi native modeling format

I supouse there is some issues/element thats not supported in OG exchange format, as
Canvas etc.

And shouldent the xml definition for  OG exchange format be archimate independent, as its today only supports v2.1

Or ofcouse OMG XMI format as other UML tools using

There are many reasons not to use the Exchange format for native format - saving images, and the Eclipse Modelling Framework persistence has its own format.

yes, I was forgetting the Eclipse feature and/or restrictions
