Title: Enhancement request: Paste to Clipboard
Post by: boltonia on December 01, 2016, 11:18:20 AM
I typically have to deliver reports in MS Word, Powerpoint etc. so I need to copy and paste diagrams.
By default, Archi seems to copy only in a bitmap format which is a pain as it introduces fuzziness on large diagrams or when zooming in.
I have found a workaround: export to .svg format, then open in an SVG editor such as Inkscape and copy/paste from there.
However, if Archi would copy to the Windows clipboard in a vector format instead of bitmap (as Visio, for example, seems to do), this would save me a few steps!

On a similar topic, it would be good if I could select multiple Views, and export them all at once instead of one at a time...

Thanks

(Moved to this forum).

Hi, it's not possible to copy and paste to the system clipboard in SVG or similar format. Eclipse framework only supports Image format.
