Hey thanks for having detailed Eclipse setup instructions. I'm not very experienced with Eclipse as I'm usually in Xcode or Visual Studio.
Thanks to your instructions I was able to get compiling and running pretty quickly. One step that didn't appear on this page: http://www.archimatetool.com/dev/eclipse-setup
At the bottom WRT plug ins.
I would add:
- Choose all available software sites from the drop down.
- Enter Plug in the search filter.
- Under General purpose tools
Choose Eclipse plugin development environment and install it.
Otherwise you will not see the Eclipse Target Editor as an option with the standard Eclipse IDE installation.
Did you initially download the Eclipse SDK? If you do, you don't need to do that step.
Phil
I downloaded Eclipse Neon which seemed to be an installer that would install everything you needed. I didn't specifically see a separate SDK installer.
