Title: Archi Mac OS X version - "Archi" is damaged and can't be openend
Post by: zrzavywa on May 04, 2017, 11:57:45 AM
Dear Phil,

The latest release Archi version 4.0 PR1 (MAC) is not starting and reporting a message "Archi" is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash."
The previous beta versions were starting and working without any issue. My current OS X version is 10.12.4 running on a MacBook Pro (Retina 13-inch).

Please advise.

Regards

Hi, it's not damaged. This is Apple's way of telling you that I have not paid Apple a developer subscription to sign it. See:

(I put a note on the download page to explain this.)

Hi Phil,

Thanks for this hint. However, as the OS X 10.12 has removed one option (anywhere) from the security control, there is an additional step needed manually activate the missing option.

Once this option is enabled Archi starts as expected.

Many thanks for your quick support.

Regards,

Walter
