Hi, It would be great if one could insert a newline (cr/lf) (enter) in the text of a connector (as displayed in a view) so that long lines of text are displayed as multiple lines. is that already possible somehow ?

Multi-line text in connector labels and element boxes is possible, in fact I wrote some code to do this some time ago. But the debate became more complicated and was not resolved. See:

The issue, it seems to me, that there may be needed a simple name text and a display multi-line text. That is harder.
or just a \n which results in displaying remainer on next line
