Title: Wardley Mapping Canvas
Post by: joke on April 24, 2018, 16:49:31 PM
Hey, there--I have created a Wardley Mapping Canvas (image attached), from the Business Model Canvas. I would like to share this work, but when I save the Canvas Template, in .archicanvas format, I can't loads it back into Archi. I only get an error message (screenshot attached), that this model I saved is incompatible?

I can import the OODA.archicanvas from this forum, so something must be wrong when saving the canvas via "Save Canvas as Template..." menu (image attached).

I am using Archi 4.2 on Windows 10.

Would be great if anyone could let me know if this problem is due to a known bug, or just my fault by using a pre-existing canvas?

Thanks! Jörg

Once you have saved a Canvas as a Template, it can be re-used via the "New Canvas from Template..." menu item into an existing model. Model != Canvas.

Thanks for this. Works fine now. Sorry for reporting a layer 8 problem.

No problem.

Nice to see creative use of the canvas!
