Title: Model conformity using jArchi
Post by: rheward on June 26, 2019, 11:05:41 AM
I've done my own version of model conformity using jArchi, Archi etc.

The ArchiMate notation allows for a large combination of concepts and relationships to be able to express what we need for full Enterprise Architecture modelling. However, a lot of organisations don't initially need all this and it is sometime useful to semi-restrict what is expected. I was already creating some Quality Check scripts when I read the excellent BiZZdesign blog on raising model quality conformance checks https://bizzdesign.com/blog/raise-model-quality-conformance-checks/ (https://bizzdesign.com/blog/raise-model-quality-conformance-checks/). I knew jArchi scripting could achieve a similar outcome.

See my blog post for full descriptions and detail: http://www.tamebluelion.co.uk/managing-model-conformity-in-archi?fbclid=IwAR30u3L1WSF76mc7KoiK5UzrsRbyO9B2qX6pPXf7wgTOjKE6BzGNniRPJGk
