Title: Working with Archi Models with Archi
Post by: MaropengM on July 23, 2019, 12:57:23 PM
I have defined an Archi model of Architecture Principles. Now I want to create another Archi model where I will be modelling the customers requirements, but I need to reference/re-use the principles I have already defined. I tried Open Exchange Format - it just recreates the principles model again as a new model. I also tried csv but only the elements "motivations" and connections "relations" are "copied/duplicated - not referenced"; worst the views do not copy into the new model.

I am using Archi 4.3.3 and I have attached the export files.

The exchange format file represents a discrete model so you cannot merge that into another model.

Importing CSV files will import concepts and properties into an existing model but not views as CSV is not suitable for these.

It's not possible to reference elements in another model, as each model is separate.
