A relationship is in my opinion a symmetric relationship; it just says A is associated with B. When drawing it depends, if I start drawing with A, or with B. So in many cases in multiple diagrams I end up with double associations (when I mean only one association relation).

So, should it not be the case that when drawing an association Archi Always should mention that there is already another association relationship? (when there is one of course)?

It doesn't check for the same type of relationship in the opposite direction. Perhaps it should. Possible candidate for the "to do" list...

Thx Phil. May I recommend it on the 'to do' list?

ps thx for the terrific tool by the way

Phil Beauvoir

Yes. The next time that part of the code is looked at, I'll have a think about what can be done.
