Page Break in the jasper report template

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has came across inconsistencies with the page breaks in your jasper reports?
I have investigated using the iReport Designer tool and saw that there is a page break element. But upon modifying/moving or deleting some stuff I do not need from the report, it creates a blank page under the "Views" heading or before the first view is printed anyway.

Moving it around causes the page break to not work in between the next consecutive view images and at times it creates blank reports.

I wanted to see if someone had a workaround for this. As, I have tried editing the default template and using some custom ones form this forum as well but they all have the same page break issue when you try to remove something you do not need; before the very first view image there is always an unnecessary blank page.
