Hi,
I update to Archi to 4.9.2 from 4.9.0. Now, when I'm using "unbox" figure the label is covering the elements surface. See screen below.

Maybe I missed a setting when I installed the last version Archi.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

There was some slight issues in the way Archi 4.9.0 was managing label when using "icon" figures. This has been resolved since, but this means that the rendering changes now that you have upgrade.

To get the label on top of the icon, simply set the text position to "top" and resize the figure so that it has more room on the top.

You can find more information on this topic here.

Thanks,  I know now how to correct my view , and understand why you did it (I'm also crying when i think of all my maps and contents to correct :) ).

A free location for label, could be a cool feature (whithout knowing the faisability and difficulty to code it).

Thanks again for your quick answering and your job (I love Archi).

Hi,

I can imagine. We really tried to avoid such impact, but had to do it anyway or it would have been worse.

That's really hard to code because this "icon" figure notation is in fact managed as a normal figure (but with a transparent background), so we have to stick with the same logic. And being able to dissociate the label from the figure (also interresting for relationships) is really hard and involves a lot of trouble we don't want.

But there's already an alternative of some sort: you can force the label expression to a space, then add a (transparent) visual note connected to the element, and set the note's label to $connection:target{name}.
