Hi,
I can't figure this one out - i'm trying to change a canvas block colour which i know is possible but on the pulldown i have default (greyed out and disabled) and preferences (there is no block element in the preference colour tree) - picture attached. I've also exported the preferences and there is no block colour in the list. How does archi handle block colours?

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks,

J.

Hi, you click on the main part of the color widget to set the fill color as with any other object. Have you "locked" the object? "Locked" is set on the Main tab. Note that there is no preference setting for the default color of a block, the default is just white.

Thanks - I know I'm being dumb (and I've used archi for a long long time) - but I've never be able to change an individual element's colour - only the default. When you say the main part of the colour widget - what do you exactly mean?

This has been a mystery to me for a long time.

Thanks

Just click on the rectangular part of the colour widget and a color chooser dialog will open.
