For all Archi development we are now using Eclipse 4.6 Neon.

I know it's a little early, as the official release of Neon is June 22, but the RC4a milestone release is the build that will be released on that day so we may as well get going.

Using Eclipse 4.6 Neon makes things a lot easier when it comes to target and launch configurations. And provides support for things like hi-res auto scaling - https://www.eclipse.org/eclipse/news/4.6/

Also, the minimum version of Java required by Neon is Java 8 (1.8 ).

Archi code has been updated in GitHub.

Please see:

http://www.archimatetool.com/dev/eclipse-setup
http://www.archimatetool.com/dev/import-code
http://www.archimatetool.com/dev/running-archi

The main thing to be aware of is the use of *.product and *.target files in order set the target dependencies for development and for running Archi from within Eclipse. The relevant files are in the com.archimatetool.editor.product project. See the dev pages for more info.

If you want to continue to develop using Eclipse 4.4 (Luna), then you should do so against the commit tagged in GitHub as "release_3.3.2"

Hi Phil,

I understood (from your blog and forum) that you stopped developing on Archi, waiting for funding (what I can really understand regarding the tremendous work that you achieved).

I'm happy to see that I understood wrong.

I will definitely have a look.

Thank you (and everybody working with you) !

Best regards
Hervé
