Reference Models

Good morning.   I am new to the world of Archimate and TOGAF.   As such, I'm trying to wrap my head around the methodology, modeling, tools, etc.   I have heard multiple times about "Reference Models", which sound to me like pre-built templates for certain business capabilities, software systems, etc.   Am I correct that this is what that term means?   If I am, where can one obtain these templates to modify and customize to my organization?
