Copy/Paste - Paste creates new element - Why?

Sometimes, I want to use an element twice or even more than twice in a view, preferably with the markup that I used on the already existing element.
However, Archi pastes new elements instead of creating another instance of the already existing element.

1. Why is that?
2. Can a second paste option be created that pastes another instance with the markup of the copied one?

Hi,

The copy/paste effectivery creates a copy.

Nevertheless, it is possible to create another instance of the same element by selecting it in the model tree and drag&drop it.
